Garanție 7 ani pentru acumulatori

7-year extended battery warranty

Voltride offers an extended 7-year warranty for the main battery of electric vehicles sold through voltride.ro. This warranty is in addition to the legal conformity warranty and is conditional upon the performance of periodic technical inspections, as described below.

Extended warranty condition

For the 7-year warranty to remain valid, the battery must be checked at a Voltride service center once every 6 months throughout the warranty period. The interval is calculated from the date of purchase or from the last service performed.

Technical inspection cost (every 6 months)

  • 250 RON — Riding Times models
  • 350 RON — Coswheel models

The cost covers labor and a complete technical check; it does not include any spare parts, should they be required.

What the inspection involves

  • Checking the cell status and battery capacity
  • Testing the Battery Management System (BMS)
  • Checking connections and housing tightness
  • Firmware update, if available
  • General inspection of the electrical system

What happens if an inspection is missed

If you do not perform the inspection within the 6-month interval, the 7-year extended warranty terminates, and the battery remains covered exclusively by the 2-year legal conformity warranty, as provided by Romanian legislation. This legal warranty can never be voided, regardless of participation in the inspection program.

What the extended warranty covers

  • Manufacturing defects of the battery
  • Abnormal degradation of storage capacity, beyond normal wear limits

What it does not cover

  • Normal capacity wear over time
  • Damage caused by improper use, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
  • Damage caused by water, excessive humidity, or improper storage
  • Batteries that have not been checked according to the inspection schedule above

How to schedule the inspection

You can contact us by phone, email, or through the form on the Contact page to schedule your service visit. We recommend scheduling the inspection 2-3 weeks before the due date to avoid exceeding the 6-month interval.
